Final Fantasy XV -Moogle Chocobo Carnival

On January 24th, Final Fantasy XV wil get its first live event “Moogle Chocobo Carnival,” as announced recently by Square Enix, and a video has been showcased on Japanese TV revealing what it’ll look like.

The event will unlock a Choco-Mog Tee and a Festive Ensemble costume, depending on whether you have the first free DLC  (Holiday Pack) only, or also the one granted by the Season Pass (Holiday Pack +).

Secondly, you’ll get access to the carnival proper, which will also decorate the city of Altissia in a festive way themed after, you guessed it, chocobos and moogles.

In order to gain access to the carnival, you should have a “carnival passport” that came with both the DLCs mentioned above.

If you haven’t downloaded the DLCs yet for some reason (and since one is free, you have no reason not to), you can find the North American PS4 version here, the European PS4 version here, and the Xbox One version here, depending on what region and platform is appropriate for you.

In the meanwhile, you can watch the video below, courtesy of YouTube user dominationkid w.

Recently, we learned that Final Fantasy XV shipped six million copies worldwide since its launch on November 29th.

In case you missed it you can read our full review to know how we feel about the game, but if that wasn’t enough Final Fantasy XV also won our two Game of the Year awards, picked both by our staff and by our readers via popular vote.

It’ll be certainly interesting to see what kind of secrets this Moogle Chocobo Carnival hides, since Square Enix really hasn’t said much about it, besides the fact that it exists and it will be activated in game on January 24th.

It might just be a nice change of pace for the four bros, and who knows whether it includes some more bonuses or not. We’ll learn all about it in ten days from now.
