Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- is an upcoming ninth game in the Kingdom Hearts series. It is releasing exclusively for the PlayStation 4 system as a part of the complete Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue package. The story acts simultaneously as an epilogue to Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep as well as a prologue for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III, following Aqua's journey through the Realm of Darkness. The game is developed through Unreal Engine 4, acting as a sort of technical demo meant to give players a taste of Kingdom Hearts III's gameplay.
