The composition of the skill tree is actually different for each character: for instance Gladio has tank skills, while Ignis has support skills.
There are different categories of nodes that you can unlock, and the team intends to make those more visible than in the build showcased below, to give the player a better chance to understand what kind of path he is evolving each character on.
The AP pool is in common among the whole group, so you can actually focus all the points on Noctis (or on anyone else) if you want, or distribute them among the party members however you prefer.
We also get to take a look at weapons, some of which are upgradable, and at the magic system included in the game.
