Nyx Ulric (ニックス・ウリック, Nikkusu Urikku?)
is the main protagonist of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. A member of the eponymous Kingsglaive, he is tasked with protecting Lunafreya Nox Fleuret when Niflheim invades the Kingdom of Lucis.
Nyx was saved by King Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII as a teenager. As such, he feels indebted to the monarch. Nyx has strong ties to the royal family's magic. Nyx was born outside of the capital city of Insomnia in the Lucian territories of Galahd, and some Insomnians including one of the guards he had as a co-worker are prejudiced against Lucians born outside of Insomnia.
